Global Leaders Extend Birthday Wishes to PM Modi on His 76th Birthday

Roseau, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is receiving an outpouring of birthday wishes as he celebrates his 76th birthday. On Thursday, Roosevelt Skerrit, the Prime Minister of Dominica, conveyed his heartfelt congratulations and wished for Modi’s good health.

In a post on X, Skerrit stated, “On behalf of the Government and people of the Commonwealth of Dominica, I extend my warmest birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. May the coming year bring you good health and continued strength in serving the people of India.”

Numerous foreign ambassadors and diplomatic missions in India have also sent their best wishes to Prime Minister Modi, highlighting the long-standing relations and close partnerships between India and their respective countries.

Mahishini Kolonne, the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka in India, expressed her congratulations on social media, stating, “Warm birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sri Lanka values its enduring friendship and close partnership with India. I wish the Prime Minister good health, happiness, and continued success.”

The Embassy of the Netherlands in India also extended birthday greetings. They reminisced about the strategic partnership established during Modi’s visit to the Netherlands in May 2026, which has strengthened bilateral cooperation.

In a post on X, the Dutch Embassy remarked, “On behalf of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, we wish honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi a happy birthday! The signing of our strategic partnership during the recent visit in May 2026 has elevated our existing bilateral cooperation and continues to strengthen our relations.”

Maya Tisafi, the Swiss Ambassador to India, joined in the celebrations, mentioning the ongoing progress in India and the growing opportunities for collaboration between Switzerland and India.

Tisafi wrote on X, “Warm wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday. May the coming year bring continuous development for India under his leadership and further opportunities for collaboration between Switzerland and India.”

Former Israeli Ambassador to India, Daniel Carmon, also shared his personal wishes for Modi on X, referring to him as a highly respected global leader, a son of India, and a friend of Israel.
