Argentinas Ambassador Celebrates PM Modis Leadership on His 76th Birthday

New Delhi, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated his 76th birthday on September 17, receiving warm wishes from around the globe. Among those extending congratulations was Mariano Casin, the Ambassador of Argentina to India, who described Modi as one of the world’s great leaders. In a special conversation, Casin emphasized the significance of the relationship between New Delhi and Buenos Aires, calling Modi’s tenure highly successful.

Wishing the Prime Minister well on his birthday, Casin stated, “Heartfelt congratulations to PM Modi from the government and people of Argentina. We hope that the journey of success and progress for the Indian government continues. We also congratulate all the people of India and the Indian Republic, the world’s most populous country, for the achievements you have attained.”

Casin praised Modi’s extensive public service, noting, “He has a wealth of experience, having been in power for a quarter of a century. Initially at the local level in Gujarat and for the past 12 or 13 years at the national level, I believe the Prime Minister is one of the great leaders today, and his global recognition is a testament to that. We are very grateful for his visit to Argentina last year.”

Reflecting on that historic visit, Casin remarked, “It was the first time in 57 years that a Prime Minister visited Argentina on a bilateral trip. We are very pleased and excited about the potential to further strengthen this relationship, which is significant for both India and Argentina.”

Discussing the current state of India-Argentina relations, Casin noted that the partnership is flourishing. “Today, Argentina is India’s fifth or sixth largest trading partner, depending on the month. This relationship is rapidly growing based on mutual benefit. Both countries share common values such as democracy and respect for human dignity, and we have seen alignment in our national interests over the past decade.”
