
New Delhi, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Senior BJP leader Makhanlal Sarkar extended warm birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17. In a recent conversation, Sarkar commended Modi for his resilience in tackling both international and domestic challenges over the years.
Sarkar stated, “The Prime Minister deserves congratulations, especially for his accomplishments. He has faced numerous difficulties head-on and has consistently moved forward.” He highlighted Modi’s extensive political career, noting his 15-year tenure as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, which coincides with his current 15 years as Prime Minister.
While uncertain if Modi will run in the 2029 elections, Sarkar expressed optimism, saying, “If he contests, it will be beneficial for India.” He also mentioned his message to Modi regarding the six demands for ‘Sonar Bangla’ raised by Suvendu Adhikari, emphasizing that if Modi takes charge of West Bengal’s industrial development, he could fulfill the dream of a prosperous ‘Sonar Bangla’ within three years.
Meanwhile, industrialist Vijay Kalantari also conveyed his birthday wishes, expressing hopes for Modi’s long life and continued service to the nation. Kalantari reflected on Modi’s political journey, from becoming General Secretary to Chief Minister and then Prime Minister, attributing his success to destiny. He praised the transformation of infrastructure under Modi’s leadership, saying, “Happy birthday to him!”
In Jammu and Kashmir, citizens joined the celebrations. Sameer Ahmed from Kathua district expressed gratitude for Modi’s initiatives, which provide free medical treatment up to 5 lakh rupees. He wished the Prime Minister a very happy birthday. Ratan Singh, also from Kathua, thanked Modi for providing support through pensions, while Shashi Thakur highlighted the benefits of the Ladli Beti scheme for the underprivileged.
