Vadnagar, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Gujarat Titans marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday on September 17 by sharing a special video showcasing their visit to Vadnagar last year. This city is notable as the birthplace of PM Modi.
The video, released on the team’s social media platform X, captures the essence of Vadnagar, emphasizing its historical significance and its connection to the Prime Minister. The Titans reflected on their trip, stating, “There is something special about the soil of Gujarat. To feel it, let’s visit Vadnagar, the city where our Prime Minister Narendra Modi was born. Our Gujarat team was here, and at that time, we had no idea these memories would become so special.”
During their visit, the Titans players explored the Vadnagar Archaeological Experiential Museum, which showcases the city’s rich archaeological and cultural history. Another highlight was the ‘Prerna Sankul,’ an experiential learning center aimed at connecting students and teachers with science, culture, and values. This center holds personal significance for PM Modi, as it relates to his early schooling years.
The video concluded with a heartfelt birthday message for PM Modi: “Happy 76th birthday, Narendra Modi.” Born in Vadnagar in 1950, he became the first Prime Minister born in independent India, three years after the country gained its freedom. He also holds the record for being the longest-serving Prime Minister from a non-Congress party. In October, PM Modi will celebrate 25 years of public service, having begun his political journey with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and leading the Bharatiya Janata Party to victory in three consecutive general elections.
