Nawada, April 5: In Nawada district of Bihar, the availability and supply of LPG cylinders are fully normal, according to Dr. Raj Kumar Sinha, the in-charge district supply officer. He confirmed that the district administration is continuously monitoring the situation to ensure a seamless and regular supply of gas cylinders to all consumers. Necessary directives have been issued to all relevant agencies.
Dr. Sinha stated that all gas agencies have been instructed to ensure transparency and timely distribution of gas cylinders, preventing any inconvenience to consumers. Currently, there are a total of 12,418 LPG cylinders available in the district, including 3,323 from HPCL, 6,291 from BPCL, and 2,804 from IOCL. This availability is considered sufficient to meet the current demand in the district, with no signs of shortage.
He also mentioned that all gas consumers are receiving regular door-step delivery of gas cylinders, ensuring a smooth distribution process. The primary objective of the administration is to guarantee that every consumer receives their gas cylinder on time, without any irregularities in the distribution process.
To prioritize public convenience, a control room has been established at the district level, staffed to address complaints swiftly. So far, a total of 250 complaints have been received at the control room, with 215 successfully resolved, while the process for the remaining complaints is ongoing. Citizens are encouraged to contact the control room for any issues to ensure prompt resolutions.
Additionally, to effectively control hoarding and black marketing, the district administration has formed raiding teams in all blocks. These teams, consisting of block development officers, block supply officers, and local police officials, regularly inspect gas agency warehouses to maintain transparency in the supply system and take immediate action against any irregularities.
The district administration has assured all citizens that the supply of LPG gas in the district is fully controlled, organized, and adequate. Citizens are also urged to disregard any misleading information or rumors.
