Nishant Kumar Launches Sadbhavna Yatra from Champaran on May 3

Patna, April 28: Nishant Kumar, son of former Bihar Chief Minister and JD(U) national president Nitish Kumar, is set to embark on a state tour starting May 3. This initiative, named ‘Sadbhavna Yatra,’ will kick off from Champaran, following in his father’s footsteps.

Umesh Singh Kushwaha, the Bihar state president of JD(U), shared details about the journey on Tuesday. He stated that the yatra will systematically cover every district in the state. During this tour, Nishant Kumar aims to communicate the messages of historical development, good governance, and social harmony achieved under the leadership of his father, Nitish Kumar. He will engage directly with party workers at the grassroots level in each district.

Kushwaha expressed that there is significant enthusiasm and excitement among party leaders, workers, and the general public regarding Nishant Kumar’s journey. He plans to interact in a ‘one-to-one’ manner with party workers throughout the tour. The yatra will also see participation from state president Umesh Kushwaha, legislative party leader Shravan Kumar, and several senior leaders and local legislators.

JD(U) believes that Nishant’s entry into the political arena without any official position will strengthen the party and inject new energy. The first phase of the yatra will take place on May 3 and 4, covering Bagaha and Betia. The second phase will commence on May 7 in Vaishali district, where he will again engage with workers from the district to the panchayat level.

Umesh Kushwaha noted that the name ‘Sadbhavna Yatra’ was personally chosen by Nishant Kumar. He emphasized that Nishant’s active involvement in the party has revitalized the enthusiasm among workers. Meeting with every worker and leader during the tour will further boost morale and strengthen the organization.

Nishant Kumar’s vision in entering politics is clear: to fortify the organization and uplift the morale of party workers and leaders. He believes direct communication with all workers is essential for achieving these goals.
