Neeraj Sinha Critiques Prashant Kishor After By-Election Loss

Patna, August 22: Neeraj Sinha, the BJP candidate who faced defeat in the Bankipur by-election, extended his congratulations to Prashant Kishor while launching a sharp critique of his promises. Sinha stated that Kishor had been working for other parties from 2016 to 2025, while he himself has been actively engaged as a grassroots worker at the booth level.

In an interview with a news agency, Sinha emphasized, “We are ordinary workers who have always worked on the ground. I continue to fulfill the responsibilities left by our National President Nitin Naveen. My approach remains unchanged; I stay connected with the public.”

Targeting Kishor, Sinha remarked, “From 2016 to 2025, Prashant Kishor operated as a business entity for another party. In contrast, I have consistently worked at the grassroots level for my party. I do not need to comment on his future actions. He has become an MLA, and I congratulate him. I am not a new worker; I have always been active at the booth level. The BJP and NDA government has been organizing job fairs annually to provide employment.”

Sinha added, “There is no reason for defeat. There has always been competition between the RJD and BJP. Today, all RJD workers and core voters have shifted to Prashant Kishor’s camp. The RJD’s bail has been forfeited. Once considered a strong party, the RJD has now lost the support of its core voters.”

He reassured that no one has abandoned the party. “All workers and voters stood together, and I thank everyone who voted. I respect them greatly. I address the issues faced by people, including drainage, streets, and electricity. Travel times have significantly reduced from hours to minutes, thanks to the NDA government.”
