NDA Leaders Express Confidence in Bankipur By-Election Results

Patna, July 30: During the by-election for the prestigious Bankipur assembly seat in Bihar, state ministers Ramkripal Yadav and Ashok Chaudhary cast their votes alongside family members at polling stations. After voting, both leaders spoke to the media, asserting that NDA candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha would emerge victorious. They claimed that the people of Bankipur were voting in favor of development, worker-based politics, and local engagement.

Both leaders expressed confidence that the electorate would deliver a mandate in favor of NDA candidate Neeraj Kumar Sinha, predicting a clear outcome for the lotus symbol in the by-election.

Former Union Minister Ramkripal Yadav stated that the people of Bankipur always prioritize representatives who are connected to their region and stand by them in times of joy and sorrow. He noted that voters prefer to choose a ‘son of the soil’ over an outsider. According to him, Nitin Naveen previously received widespread support from the public, and now the same trust is being extended to Neeraj Kumar Sinha.

He claimed that in today’s politics, it is not wealth but public service and continuous presence among the people that matter. Voters are choosing candidates who have been actively solving local issues. He also mentioned that voters from all demographics appeared to be supporting the lotus symbol at polling stations.

When asked about allegations regarding the arrest of supporters of Prashant Kishor’s Jan Suraj, Ramkripal Yadav stated that the law applies equally to everyone. If anyone violates the law or attempts to disrupt public order, police action will follow. He emphasized that democratic processes must operate within the framework of the law.

Meanwhile, Bihar Minister Ashok Chaudhary remarked that the Bankipur by-election is taking place in a constituency where Nitin Naveen has consistently earned the public’s trust and now holds significant national responsibilities. He emphasized that direct engagement with voters and workers is crucial for any representative, and the current NDA candidate has been an active grassroots worker for a long time.

Ashok Chaudhary added that the party believes in promoting ordinary workers, and Neeraj Kumar Sinha embodies this tradition. Providing opportunities to workers is one of the organization’s greatest strengths in a democracy. Regarding the arrests, he stated that police take precautionary measures to maintain law and order during elections, which should not be viewed through a political lens.

He urged all voters to participate actively in this democratic festival and expressed hope for higher voter turnout in Bankipur compared to the last election, with educated voters fulfilling their democratic responsibilities in large numbers.
