NDA Leaders Congratulate Samrat Chaudhary on His Election as Legislative Leader, Praise Nitish Kumar

Patna, April 14: Following Nitish Kumar’s resignation from the Chief Minister position, Samrat Chaudhary has been elected as the new Chief Minister of Bihar. He was chosen as the leader of the NDA legislative party in Patna. NDA leaders extended their best wishes to the new Chief Minister while also praising Nitish Kumar’s tenure.

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Samrat Chaudhary and all BJP legislators who unanimously selected him as their leader. He highlighted that Nitish Kumar served as Bihar’s Chief Minister for 20 years, setting an example of integrity and honesty in politics.

Chouhan noted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s special connection to Bihar, emphasizing that the development work carried out by the central government in recent years is a testament to this bond.

After being elected as the leader of the legislative party, Samrat Chaudhary stated that he has learned a great deal from Nitish Kumar about governance and establishing good governance in Bihar. He pledged to work together with everyone to develop Bihar and the nation.

Chirag Paswan, the national president of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), described this as an emotional moment. He acknowledged that the people of Bihar have benefited from Nitish Kumar’s leadership for over two decades. As Kumar transitions to a new phase at the central level, Paswan extended his best wishes on behalf of himself and his party.

Upendra Kushwaha, the national president of RLM, also expressed that this is an emotional moment. He noted that people are expressing their feelings in various ways, but it is the nature of life that when one departs, another arrives. He commended Nitish Kumar for his two decades of service and expressed confidence that Kumar will continue to serve the people of Bihar even after moving to Delhi.

Minister Ram Kripal Yadav confirmed that Samrat Chaudhary was unanimously elected as the leader of the legislative party and will take the oath of office as Chief Minister tomorrow.

BJP MP Dharmshila Gupta remarked that as Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary has contributed significantly to Bihar’s development, and now he will take the state further.

BJP MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy praised Nitish Kumar, stating that Kumar recognized it was time to give the new generation a chance in politics. He acknowledged Kumar’s significant political responsibilities and believed that future political developments would occur under his guidance.

BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad called it a monumental and historic day, expressing a collective commitment to advance Bihar.

Minister Lakhemdra Paswan stated that Samrat Chaudhary’s selection as NDA leader will undoubtedly prove to be a milestone for Bihar’s development.

Former Minister Neeraj Kumar Singh Bablu remarked that after years of hard work, it is a result of every BJP worker’s efforts that Samrat Chaudhary has the opportunity to become Chief Minister.

JDU leader Ramprit Mandal noted that Nitish Kumar resigned today, leaving the entire state of Bihar in disappointment.
