NDA and BJP Workers Fully Prepared for Upcoming Elections: Nitin Naveen

New Delhi, March 15: The Election Commission announced the dates for assembly elections in four states and one union territory on Sunday. Following this, the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitin Naveen, expressed confidence in the formation of BJP and NDA governments across all states.

In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, BJP President Nitin Naveen stated that with the announcement of election dates for the five states, NDA and BJP workers are fully prepared for the upcoming elections.

He mentioned that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, NDA is set to form the government again in Assam and Puducherry. Additionally, he believes that with the blessings of the public, the path for NDA (BJP) victory is being paved in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.

It is noteworthy that the Election Commission held a press conference on Sunday to share crucial information regarding the assembly elections in Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and the union territory of Puducherry. Elections in Assam, Kerala, and Puducherry will take place in a single phase on April 9. In West Bengal, voting will occur in two phases on April 23 and April 29, while Tamil Nadu will have voting in a single phase on April 23. The results for all these states and the union territory will be announced on May 4.

With the announcement of elections in these five states and the union territory, the Model Code of Conduct has come into immediate effect. Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar stated that the commission has reviewed preparations by visiting all electoral states in recent days and has engaged with political parties, officials, and voters.

The Chief Election Commissioner also mentioned that the Election Commission team assessed the preparations for the assembly elections in these states. During this time, they met with all political parties to gather their suggestions and held detailed discussions with officials from enforcement agencies, district election officers, police officers, state election officials, and directors general of police.
