Xiamen, September 9 (Daily Kiran) : Chinese Vice President Han Chang participated in the opening ceremony of the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) on September 8 in Xiamen, Fujian Province. During his address, he underscored President Xi Jinping’s unwavering commitment to promoting high-level openness and continuously encouraging the liberalization and facilitation of trade and investment.
Han noted that the world is entering a new phase of turmoil and change, marked by increased uncertainties and instabilities. However, he asserted that the historical trend of openness and cooperation remains unchanged. CIFIT, with its enduring theme of “Expanding Bilateral Investment and Promoting Global Development,” serves as a crucial platform for deepening global investment cooperation.
He proposed three key suggestions: first, to continuously create new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation; second, to promote innovative development engines; and third, to jointly maintain the stability and smooth operation of industrial chains.
Han emphasized the complex and unstable nature of the current international situation. He stated that as conditions become more turbulent, it is essential to strengthen mutual cooperation, promote inclusive economic globalization, and work towards a brighter future of shared prosperity and development.
