New Delhi, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : In a heartfelt tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 76th birthday, a nationwide campaign titled ‘Blessing Diya’ is being observed. This initiative honors both his birthday and his 25 years of public service. Prominent leaders, including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, participated by lighting candles, expressing their wishes for his good health and longevity.
Rajnath Singh shared on social media platform X, stating, “On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, I lit a diya wishing for his good health and long life. May our commitment to a developed India grow stronger under his leadership. I urge everyone to light a Blessing Diya for his well-being.”
In Ahmedabad, Home Minister Amit Shah joined Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel for an aarti at the Jagannath Temple. This event was part of the celebrations for PM Modi’s birthday and the launch of the ‘Service Commitment Campaign.’
Central Minister Nitin Gadkari also participated in Nagpur by lighting a diya during the ‘Blessing Diya’ program under the same campaign.
From Bhutan, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar contributed to the initiative by lighting a diya at the famous Tashichho Dzong, in the presence of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck. He noted, “We honored Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of dedicated public service, which has impacted countless lives worldwide.”
In Maharashtra, Governor Jagdish Mukhi lit a diya at the Lok Bhawan’s Devi Temple, praying for PM Modi’s health, longevity, and continued success while distributing sweets to workers.
In Hyderabad, Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla remarked, “Today is Prime Minister Modi’s birthday, and we extend our congratulations on behalf of the people of Telangana. He has dedicated his life to service, which is why we organized a blood donation camp through Lok Bhawan and the Red Cross.”
Central Minister Giriraj Singh lit diyas in Ballia and Begusarai, stating, “This diya, illuminated by the love and blessings of the people, symbolizes dedication to national service and the commitment to a developed India.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended an event at the Rashtriya Prerna Sthal in Lucknow, expressing, “May the country always receive the benefits of the Prime Minister’s successful leadership and guidance. The ‘Blessing Diya’ campaign is spreading positive energy across the nation.”
BJP President J.P. Nadda added, “Under PM Modi’s leadership, India has been directed towards development, self-reliance, and nation-building. May God grant him strength and resilience.”
