New Delhi, March 31: Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke with Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten on Monday. They discussed opportunities to deepen India-Netherlands relations.
During the conversation, Modi and Jetten explored potential collaborations in technology, water management, energy, and talent mobility. They also emphasized the need for peace and stability in the Middle East.
In a post on the social media platform X, PM Modi expressed his pleasure in speaking with Prime Minister Jetten. He stated, “We discussed ways to strengthen India-Netherlands relations. We highlighted our partnership opportunities in semiconductors, large water projects, green hydrogen, and talent mobility.”
Modi added, “We exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East and stressed the urgent need to restore peace and stability in the region.”
The discussion shed light on the vast potential for collaboration in high technology and sustainability. Semiconductors emerged as a strategic focus, with India promoting domestic chip manufacturing while the Netherlands leads globally in advanced semiconductor equipment and technology.
