Ghaziabad, May 31: A devastating fire erupted at the Jain Zari Creation Private Limited factory located in Sahibabad’s industrial area on Sunday morning at 7:30 AM. The fire department was alerted, and after several hours of intense efforts, they finally managed to control the blaze.
The factory, known for thread manufacturing, was engulfed in flames, causing panic in the surrounding area as the fire quickly spread across a significant portion of the facility.
Witnesses reported chaos in the vicinity as the fire raged on. Firefighters faced challenges reaching the site, prompting them to break down a wall using a JCB to gain access. By around 9:30 AM, the fire department announced that they had successfully extinguished the fire.
It was revealed that the factory stored both threads and chemicals, which contributed to the rapid spread of the flames. Upon receiving the distress call, the fire department promptly dispatched ten fire engines to the scene to initiate firefighting operations.
Despite the severity of the incident, it is fortunate that no casualties have been reported. Currently, the cause of the fire remains undetermined, and the fire department along with relevant authorities are conducting an investigation. Preliminary estimates suggest that the factory has suffered significant financial losses due to the fire.
CFO Rahul Pal confirmed that ten fire engines were dispatched upon notification of the fire. Efforts included breaking down a wall with a JCB to facilitate firefighting. The fire has been successfully extinguished, and thankfully, there have been no reports of injuries.
