
Bengaluru, May 7: A golden opportunity has emerged for those aspiring to work in the High Court. The Karnataka High Court has issued an official notification inviting applications for 93 vacant positions, including Peon (Chaprasi).
The vacancies include 85 positions for Peons, Watchmen, Cleaners, and Housekeeping Peons; 5 for Lift Attendants; 1 for Assistant Binder; 1 for Tailor; and 1 for Washerman.
The online application process began on April 22, and the last date to apply is set for May 21. Candidates wishing to fill out the application form can register on the official website before or by the deadline.
Applicants must have passed at least SSLC/10th grade or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution or board. Additionally, some positions require candidates to have relevant experience in the field.
The minimum age for candidates is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 40 years, calculated as of January 29. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on shortlisting, interviews, document verification, and the final merit list. The selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from ₹19,900 to ₹69,100 per month, depending on the position.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹200 for General candidates and ₹100 for SC/ST/OBC and disabled candidates.
To apply online, candidates should first visit the official website of the Karnataka High Court. After reaching the homepage, click on the active application link for the relevant position. Then, register and log in. Fill in all the required information in the form, upload the necessary documents in the correct size, pay the registration fee, and submit the form. Finally, ensure to keep a hard copy of the application for future reference.
