New Delhi, August 13: A remarkable opportunity has emerged for young individuals aspiring to join the Indian Army. The Indian Army has announced the recruitment of 70 unmarried male candidates under the NCC Special Entry Scheme for the 125th Course, specifically for Short Service Commission (Non-Tech). This includes dependents of soldiers who have been casualties in combat.
Out of the 70 vacancies, 63 are available for the general category, while 7 are reserved for the children of soldiers who have died in action. The online application process commenced on July 20 at 3 PM, and candidates have until August 20 to submit their applications. Interested applicants are advised to complete their registration on the official Indian Army website before the deadline.
Candidates must possess a graduation degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution or university. The age limit for applicants is set between 19 and 25 years, calculated as of January 1, 2027.
Selection will be based on application shortlisting, SSB interviews, medical examinations, and merit lists. The training period will last 49 weeks, starting in April 2027. During training, candidates will receive a stipend of ₹56,100 per month. Upon successful completion, selected candidates will hold the rank of Lieutenant, with an annual CTC ranging between ₹17 to ₹18 lakh. Additional benefits and allowances will also be provided.
