Tension in Delhis Kalindi Kunj Leads to Balcony Jumping Incident

Kalindi Kunj, New Delhi, October 4 (Daily Kiran) : A heated argument over a video in Kalindi Kunj, New Delhi, led to a shocking incident where one woman jumped from a balcony and another plunged into a building shaft. The altercation occurred in the D Block of Khadda Colony on Friday.

According to police reports, the dispute arose between two women, Rubina and Fatima, after one recorded the other and shared it with someone else. Following the argument, a distress call was made to the Kalindi Kunj police station, indicating that one woman had locked herself in a room.

When authorities, including a team from the Kalindi Kunj police station and the Delhi Fire Service, arrived at the scene, they discovered that 25-year-old Rubina had jumped from the first floor, sustaining injuries. She was initially taken to the local Felicity Hospital and later transferred to the AIIMS Trauma Center for further treatment.

Meanwhile, 24-year-old Fatima had barricaded herself in a room before jumping into the open shaft of the building. Emergency responders managed to open the door and initiated a rescue operation. Under the leadership of Station Officer Rakesh Singh, firefighters used available equipment to extricate Fatima from the challenging location. She was subsequently transported to the AIIMS Trauma Center via a PCR vehicle.
