During the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Tianjin, China, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a significant meeting. Prime Minister Modi stated that India and Russia have always stood shoulder to shoulder, even in the most challenging circumstances. The two leaders discussed the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, global developments, and agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in energy, finance, and economic sectors.
