New Delhi, April 4: Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha participated in the 8th Ayodhya Festival held in New Delhi on Friday. Organized by the Shri Ayodhya Trust at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), Sinha shared profound insights on the consciousness of Lord Ram and the timeless significance of Ayodhya.
Sinha emphasized that Ayodhya is not merely a city or a pilgrimage site; it is the birthplace of civilization and an eternal source of human consciousness. He stated, “When we invoke Ayodhya, we awaken the consciousness blessed by Lord Ram, which has given meaning to human civilization. Understanding Ayodhya is not just about geography; it is about understanding ourselves.”
He described Ayodhya as a vibrant consciousness of the present and a guiding force for the future. Sinha asserted that Ayodhya represents our roots and serves as a dynamic inspiration for the nation. He remarked, “Ayodhya calls us to awaken our inner consciousness. It reassures us that no matter how great the obstacles or how much time changes, if faith and awareness remain alive, tradition never dies.”
The Lieutenant Governor characterized Ayodhya as a symbol of moral values, principles, and balance. He noted that Ayodhya reminds us that progress does not mean abandoning our roots. He added, “Life is not just about motion; it is also about the right direction. In today’s global landscape, Ayodhya plays a guiding role.”
Sinha urged the world to learn from the ideals of virtue, duty, and sacrifice exemplified by Lord Ram. He stated that Ram’s life demonstrates that those who walk the path of truth and righteousness ultimately prevail. Ayodhya embodies the values of duty, dignity, compassion, sacrifice, and balance, where strength and sensitivity coexist.
He highlighted Ayodhya as a crucial pillar of India’s global identity, economic strength, and cultural continuity. The Lieutenant Governor emphasized that Ayodhya could become the center of India’s ‘soft power.’ He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to establish Ayodhya as a civilizational hub.
He concluded, “The true strength of nations lies in their cultural depth and civilizational roots. The impact of Ayodhya is not limited to India; it can be felt worldwide.”
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Mahant Kamal Nayan Das of Shri Maniram Das Chavani, IGNCA Chairman Ram Bahadur Rai, RSS leader Suresh Bhaiyaji Joshi, Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, former MP Ashok Bajpayee, Lallu Singh, and IGNCA Secretary Sachchidanand Joshi.
The Lieutenant Governor also shared details of the event on his official ‘X’ handle, emphasizing the need to promote the eternal light of Ayodhya.
