
Noida, June 23: A shocking incident has emerged from Cape Town Society in Sector 74, Noida, where a woman was filmed assaulting a maintenance staff member. The CCTV footage of the altercation has gone viral on social media, showing the woman and a male companion creating a ruckus in the maintenance office and behaving aggressively towards the employee.
The Sector 113 police are aware of the situation and are currently investigating the matter. Reports indicate that the incident occurred about a day ago. The woman, a resident of Tower CV-7 in the society, was reportedly upset over the lack of a diesel generator (DG) connection in her flat. This grievance led her to visit the maintenance office with a male companion, where the dispute escalated quickly.
Witnesses claim that the woman began a heated argument with the staff upon entering the office. As tensions rose, her male companion grabbed a young maintenance worker, prompting the woman to slap the employee multiple times. Other staff members and bystanders attempted to intervene, but the chaos continued for some time. The entire incident was captured on the CCTV cameras installed in the office.
In the viral video, the woman can be seen angrily raising her hand against the staff member. Following the video’s release, social media users have harshly criticized the incident, raising concerns about safety and respect for employees within the society. Staff members have stated that there are established procedures for resolving issues, and that entering the office to physically assault employees is entirely unacceptable.
The maintenance staff is reportedly feeling a sense of anger and frustration following the incident.
