New Delhi, June 24: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini demonstrated his compassion once again by assisting two young men injured in a road accident on Wednesday.
While traveling on the Ladwa-Babain road, CM Saini encountered the accident scene where two motorcyclists had crashed. He promptly halted his convoy and arranged for the injured individuals to be transported to the hospital via an ambulance from his entourage, wishing them a swift recovery. He also took the time to converse with the victims to check on their condition, accompanied by his political secretary, Tarun Bhandari.
Upon noticing the situation, the Chief Minister immediately stopped his vehicle, exited, and assessed the circumstances. He directed his security personnel and personal physician to provide first aid to the injured. Subsequently, he ensured that both victims were sent to the hospital in an advanced life support ambulance from his convoy.
CM Saini expressed that witnessing anyone injured on the road is distressing. As a public representative and a human being, he emphasized that it is our primary duty to assist those in need. He mentioned that the government has instructed all legislators, MPs, and officials to always have an ambulance with their convoy to provide immediate assistance in emergencies.
He urged the residents of Haryana to prioritize transporting injured individuals to the hospital during the “golden hour” following an accident. He noted that under the “Haryana Safe Road Policy,” individuals who help the injured are rewarded with financial incentives and certificates of appreciation from the government.
The victims of the motorcycle accident were identified as Amit, 27, from Beed Kalwa village, and Rajat Kumar, 30, from Surajgarh village, both of whom are currently receiving treatment at CHC Shahbad.
