Giriraj Singh Hits Back at Rahul Gandhis Tea Shop Remarks

Patna, August 30: Central Minister Giriraj Singh has sharply responded to opposition leader Rahul Gandhi’s remarks about tea shops made in the Lok Sabha. Singh accused Gandhi of focusing on gaining power rather than addressing the concerns of the Dalit community and of sowing discord for political gain.

During a press conference on Saturday, Rahul Gandhi stated that there are two types of cups at tea shops: one for Dalits, which is discarded after use, and another for the upper caste, which is reused. This statement sparked a political controversy.

In response, Giriraj Singh remarked, “I believe this is what Rahul Gandhi is currently thinking. Perhaps he should open a tea shop. I saw a video on social media where Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Sonia Gandhi were present. Kharge was serving them water, which they did not drink. They are promoting untouchability while the entire country and society oppose it.”

Singh further commented, “I noticed that in the photo of the tea shop he provided, he was drinking from a glass while everyone else used paper cups. This seems to be a stunt from his imagination. He is trying to incite social discord in the country, whether it’s in the name of students or anyone else.”

Targeting Rahul Gandhi, Singh stated, “Rahul Gandhi has no concern for the Dalit community. He is only worried about ruling the country. In his race for power, he shows no concern if the entire nation is engulfed in flames or if a rift develops between Dalits and non-Dalits.”

The central minister also commented on Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, stating, “The whole country knows that Kharge is merely a puppet. He will say whatever Rahul Gandhi dictates, and he cannot speak beyond that. If he does, he will remember how Sitaram Kesri was ousted in disgrace.”
