Beijing, August 31: A significant article by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC), will be published in the CPC’s Central Committee magazine, Qiaoshi, on September 1.
The article is titled “Adhering to the Implementation of Political Responsibility in Party Governance and Operations.” It includes key statements made by Xi from June 2013 to July 2026.
In the article, Xi emphasizes that a lack of clarity in responsibilities, failure to enforce them, and evasion of accountability hinder strict management of the Party. He asserts that comprehensive management of the Party is a shared responsibility that no organization or leader can escape.
Furthermore, the article highlights the need to improve the evaluation system for implementing responsibilities while focusing on the effectiveness of tasks. It calls for the establishment of a precise and scientific accountability mechanism.
