
Beijing, August 31: Fang Liyuan, the wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping, visited the Kyrgyz National Museum of History in Bishkek on Monday. She was accompanied by Aigul Japarova, the spouse of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.
The two women enjoyed a warm and friendly welcome as they explored an exhibition showcasing Kyrgyzstan’s traditional culture. During the visit, Fang Liyuan praised the craftsmanship of the items displayed, including clothing and carpets, noting their vibrant colors. She emphasized that these artifacts reflect Kyrgyzstan’s rich heritage and unique customs. Both China and Kyrgyzstan are committed to preserving and developing their traditional cultures. Fang expressed hope that the two nations would continue to enhance cultural exchanges and strengthen people-to-people connections.
The leaders’ wives also attended an exhibition on ancient Chinese civilization and art, which was jointly organized by China and Kyrgyzstan. They expressed a strong desire to actively promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning between the two countries.
