
Mumbai, February 3: Renowned filmmaker Gautam Vasudev Menon has marked a significant milestone, celebrating 25 years in the South Indian film industry. On this occasion, he expressed his gratitude to fans through a heartfelt social media post.
In his post, he referred to this journey as “a quarter-century of frames and feelings.” He emphasized that cinema is not merely a medium for capturing moving images but an art form that encapsulates time. Reflecting on his 25-year journey, he shared his overwhelming emotions filled with memories and experiences.
Menon stated, “Surviving for 25 years in this demanding industry is not just a personal achievement. It is a beautiful tapestry woven from the dreams, dedication, and talent of countless individuals, artists, teams, mentors, and audiences who have walked alongside me.” He extended his heartfelt thanks to everyone involved.
Regarding the actors and teams, he remarked, “You took the imaginary concepts from my mind and gave them soul, voice, and heartbeat. You breathed life into my words and discovered depths in characters I wasn’t even aware of. You have been the silent architects behind the lens, transforming my imagination into reality for the past 25 years. My gratitude and respect for you are as profound as your love for cinema.”
Menon also acknowledged the prominent figures and mentors who supported him throughout his career. He remembered those who guided him in his early steps and mentioned fellow directors and storytellers whose work continuously challenges and inspires him. His most special message was directed towards the audience.
