Mumbai, July 29: Actress Sirat Kapoor has openly discussed the significant role of South Indian cinema in her acting journey. She stated that her experiences in the South Indian film industry have deepened her understanding of characters. Working across various locations and cultures has enhanced her ability to comprehend and portray emotions on screen.
In an interview, Sirat remarked, “The South Indian film industry has provided a strong foundation for my career. Working in different languages has been both a challenge and a tremendous learning opportunity. This experience has made me more comfortable in acting, adaptable to situations, and honest in my work. It has taught me that emotions do not always require words.”
The actress also shared her thoughts on the challenges faced by artists today. She emphasized, “For any artist, the most important thing is to be remembered for the right reasons. Popularity and buzz may last for a while, but the respect earned through good work remains for a long time.”
Sirat Kapoor will soon be seen in the film “Jatsya Maranam Dhruvam,” where she stars alongside veteran actor J.D. Chakravarthy in a key role. The film is set to release next month in five languages.
Recently, Sirat shared a challenging experience she faced during the shooting of this film. She revealed that she injured herself while filming the climax scene. For that scene, she wore bangles, but after the shoot, swelling in her hands made it difficult to remove them.
Recalling this incident, Sirat said, “I remember when we were shooting the climax scene. I wore bangles for that scene, and after the shoot, due to swollen hands, we struggled to take them off. With the team’s help, we managed to get them off.”
