Gang Leader Aluva Atul Murdered in Broad Daylight in Karunagappally

Karunagappally, March 15: A shocking incident of gang violence has emerged in Karunagappally, Kerala. Aluva Atul, a gang leader previously released on bail in connection with the Jim Santhosh murder case, was brutally killed in the middle of the road. The attack occurred as Atul was returning home after being released from the police station.

According to police reports, a gang of assailants traveling in an Innova followed Atul’s car. They first rammed into his vehicle and then pushed it into a roadside ditch. The attackers then exited their vehicle and assaulted Atul. He sustained severe head injuries and multiple stab wounds, leading to his death at the scene. The incident has sent shockwaves through the area, especially after CCTV footage of the attack surfaced.

Aluva Atul was a resident of Karunagappally and was known as a gang leader associated with the ‘Jim Santhosh’ case. He had been in custody last November for the murder of another gang leader, which police classified as a gang-related incident. The attack happened just two kilometers from the police station as he was returning after securing bail.

Investigations have indicated that the gangster Kudipaka may be involved in the murder. Authorities are currently taking statements from a passenger who was in the car with Atul. Police have reported that they have gathered significant information about the suspects and will take action soon.

This incident has heightened fears of escalating gang violence in the region. Local residents are in a state of panic and are demanding swift action from law enforcement. The police have intensified their investigation and are actively searching for the assailants based on the CCTV footage.
