Former Vice President Naidu Inaugurates Primary Health Center in Vijayawada

Vijayawada, June 26: Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated a new primary health center and indoor stadium in Atukuru, near Vijayawada, on Friday. He shared images from the event on social media.

Naidu expressed his delight in a post on the social media platform X, stating, “It brings me immense joy to inaugurate the new primary health center and indoor stadium in Atukuru, near Vijayawada. This center serves over 18,000 villagers from five villages. While hospital facilities are available here, I hope for a healthy society where no one needs to fall ill or seek treatment.”

He also highlighted the establishment of an indoor stadium alongside the health center as a positive development.

Naidu emphasized the crucial role of education and health services in building capable human resources. He noted that a nation requires both economic and health strength. Remembering the adage from his ancestors, “Health is the greatest wealth,” he urged everyone to adopt healthier lifestyles and focus on ancient, scientific dietary habits.

He called for governments to pay more attention to public health and quality medical services. Additionally, he urged private hospitals to extend support to the underprivileged, viewing the healthcare sector as a service-oriented field.
