February 20 Panchang: Auspicious Yogas and Important Timings to Note

New Delhi, February 19: In Sanatan Dharma, the Panchang determines the auspicious and inauspicious timings for the day. February 20, which falls on a Friday, brings several significant yogas. On this day, the special conjunction of Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga and Amrit Siddhi Yoga is believed to enhance success in endeavors and yield favorable results. However, the influence of Panchak and Bhadra will persist throughout the day, necessitating some precautions.

According to the Drik Panchang, the third Tithi will last until 2:38 PM on February 20. Based on the Uday Tithi, the entire day will be considered as Tritiya. The Nakshatra Uttar Bhadrapada will remain until 8:07 PM, after which the Revati Nakshatra will take effect. The auspicious yoga will be effective until 6:23 PM, and the Karan will last until 2:38 PM.

Sunrise will occur at 6:55 AM, and sunset will be at 6:15 PM. For auspicious timings, Brahma Muhurat will be from 5:14 AM to 6:05 AM, Abhijit Muhurat from 12:12 PM to 12:58 PM, Vijay Muhurat from 2:28 PM to 3:14 PM, and Godhuli Muhurat from 6:12 PM to 6:38 PM. The Amrit Kaal will be from 3:28 PM to 5:01 PM.

The conjunction of Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga, Amrit Siddhi Yoga, and Ravi Yoga will be in effect from 8:07 PM to the following day at 6:54 AM. This period is particularly favorable for new ventures, prayers, weddings, or other auspicious activities.

Regarding inauspicious timings, Rahu Kaal will be from 11:10 AM to 12:35 PM, Yamagand from 3:25 PM to 4:50 PM, and Gulika Kaal from 8:20 AM to 9:45 AM. Bhadra will last from 1:51 AM to the next morning at 6:54 AM, and Panchak will be valid throughout the day. Due to Panchak and Bhadra, it is advisable to avoid fire-related activities, travel, or new beginnings.

Friday is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi and the planet Venus. Devotees engaging in worship and fasting on this day are believed to attain peace, prosperity, and abundance.
