Tirupati, May 29: A bomb threat at the Raj Park Hotel in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, sparked panic among guests and staff. An unknown caller threatened to blow up the hotel, leading to chaos in the premises.
Upon receiving the threat, local police acted swiftly, alerting security agencies. Bomb disposal and dog squads were dispatched to the scene. Under the supervision of Inspector Ramakrishna from the Alipiri police station, a thorough search of the hotel was initiated.
Authorities meticulously examined every area of the hotel, including rooms, halls, parking spaces, and other suspicious locations, to confirm the presence of any explosives or suspicious items. Security measures were heightened, and access around the hotel was restricted.
After an extensive search, police confirmed that no explosives were found on the premises. The investigation concluded that the threat was entirely false and stemmed from a hoax call.
Inspector Ramakrishna stated that initial investigations suggest the call was a prank. Efforts are underway to identify the caller, and legal action will be taken against them.
