Empowering Young Women in Jammu and Kashmir Through SBI-RSETI Training

Reasi, June 24: In Reasi, Jammu and Kashmir, the Ministry of Rural Development is conducting a training program under SBI-RSETI for 31 young women. This initiative focuses on teaching skills related to beauty, health, and entrepreneurship.

The aim is to equip these women with the necessary skills to secure employment opportunities in the near future, ensuring they face no obstacles. Participants expressed their joy, stating that the training has instilled confidence in them, enabling them to envision a brighter future.

One student shared her experience, highlighting the extensive knowledge they are gaining through the program. “We thank Prime Minister Modi for this initiative. Coming from a rural area, I am currently pursuing a beautician course. The training is comprehensive and provided free of charge. Our instructor, Seema Chataral, is originally from Himachal Pradesh,” she stated.

She encouraged other girls to join the program, emphasizing its benefits. “This initiative is excellent for girls like us. SBI has taken a commendable step, and we welcome it. In the future, I plan to start freelancing and eventually open my own beauty salon.”

Additionally, she mentioned the various skills they are learning, including hair care, hair cutting, and applying henna. “If you want to know about my personal experiences, I have gained a lot from this training,” she added.
