Devina Gehlot Tops CUET UG 2026, Advocates for Regular Study Habits

New Delhi, June 23: Devina Gehlot, who achieved the All India Rank 1 in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Undergraduate 2026, emphasized the importance of regular study over long hours of cramming. She believes taking breaks is essential for maintaining focus and freshness while studying.

In an interview, Devina expressed her joy, stating, “I am very happy. I knew I performed well on the paper, but I did not expect to secure the All India number one position.”

She credited her success to the support of her family and teachers, saying, “Achieving this success would not have been possible without the backing of my family and educators.”

Reflecting on her initial struggles, Devina noted, “There were some difficulties at first, and I felt it might not be possible. However, once I started studying, my confidence grew. Regular study is better than long hours of reading, and taking some time for revision and breaks is also important.”

Devina has a deep interest in literature. She shared, “I love literature. Writing and reading are my hobbies.” She is considering pursuing an honors degree in English.

Her father, Kailash Gehlot, a BJP MLA, shared an emotional post on X celebrating his daughter’s achievement.
