New Delhi, July 19: A golden opportunity has emerged for job seekers wishing to work at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). The company is inviting applications for a total of 116 positions, aimed at both experienced professionals and freshers. Interested candidates have only a few days left to apply, with the deadline set for July 20.
Among the 116 vacancies, there are 62 positions for experienced professionals and 54 for freshers. The freshers’ roles include 37 Junior Executive – Chemical and 17 Junior Executive – Fire and Safety positions.
The experienced roles consist of 52 Senior Officer – Sales (Retail/Lubes/Direct Sales/LPG), 5 Assistant Manager – Projects and Manager – Projects, and 1 Chief Manager – Technical Services (Specialty Chemicals) along with similar roles in Sales and Marketing. Additionally, there are positions for Senior Manager – Economist, Chief Manager – Economist, and Deputy General Manager – Economist, among others.
The online application process began on July 1 and will close on July 20 at 3 PM. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can fill out their registration forms on HPCL’s official website.
Applicants for the Junior Executive (Chemical) position must possess a full-time regular diploma in Chemical Engineering with at least 65% marks from a recognized institution. For the Junior Executive (Fire and Safety) role, candidates should be science graduates with a diploma in Fire and Safety and a valid heavy vehicle driving license.
For the Senior Officer – Sales position, candidates need a full-time regular engineering degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Chemical/Civil Engineering and a two-year full-time regular MBA or PGDM. Similar educational qualifications are required for other senior roles.
The maximum age limit for applicants ranges from 25 to 54 years, depending on the position, with age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
Selection will be based on application shortlisting, computer-based tests, group tasks, psychometric assessments, skill tests, personal/technical interviews, physical fitness efficiency tests, and pre-employment medical examinations. Salaries for freshers will range from ₹30,000 to ₹1,20,000, while experienced professionals can earn between ₹60,000 and ₹2,80,000 per month, along with additional benefits.
Candidates must also pay the application fee online, which is set at ₹1,180 for General/OBC/EWS categories, while SC/ST/PWD candidates are eligible for a fee waiver.
