New Delhi, September 10 (Daily Kiran) : The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that all metro stations in the capital will remain open until further notice, amidst speculation surrounding the upcoming BRICS Summit. In a statement posted on the social media platform X, DMRC reassured passengers that metro services will continue as usual.
The DMRC urged commuters to stay updated through its website, social media channels, or the ‘Delhi Metro Sarthi’ app for any further announcements. This clarification comes after numerous inquiries regarding potential station closures during the summit.
Additionally, DMRC confirmed that the Delhi Metro Museum, located at the Supreme Court metro station, will be closed from September 11 to 13, 2026, due to the summit. The museum will reopen on September 15, following its usual weekly closure on Mondays.
In response to the summit, the Delhi Traffic Police has also issued advisories. They informed the public about changes to court schedules, particularly for courts near the Bharat Mandapam, the summit venue. The National Lok Adalat scheduled for September 12 will now take place on October 10, while lower courts will observe holidays on September 11 and 12, rescheduling hearings for those dates to September 14.
