Rajasthan Cabinet Approves Proposal to Honor Prime Minister Modi on 25 Years of Service

The Rajasthan Cabinet has approved a proposal to honor PM Modi for his 25 years of service, highlighting key achievements during his tenure.

Jaipur, October 14 (Daily Kiran) : The Rajasthan Cabinet has officially approved a proposal to honor Prime Minister Narendra Modi for completing 25 years in public service. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma made the announcement following a cabinet meeting, emphasizing Rajasthan’s crucial role in realizing Modi’s vision of a “Developed India.”

Sharma highlighted several significant achievements during Modi’s tenure, including the consecration of the Ram Temple and progress on long-pending interstate water agreements. He noted that the spirit of cooperative federalism has facilitated advancements in agreements such as the Yamuna Water Agreement, Narmada Water Agreement, and the Eastern Rajasthan Canal Project (ERCP).

The Chief Minister also referenced the signing of Memorandums of Understanding worth ₹35 lakh crore during the Global Rajasthan Summit and the inauguration of the Pachpadra refinery by the Prime Minister. He stated that over 27,750 kilometers of greenfield expressways are currently under development, and Rajasthan’s solar energy capacity has increased by 28 gigawatts during the state government’s term.

Sharma praised the benefits the state has gained under Modi’s leadership, mentioning the “One Tree for Every Mother” campaign, which has seen approximately 30 crore trees planted in Rajasthan. He emphasized the importance of youth in nation-building, revealing that a recruitment process for 100,000 positions is currently underway.

The Chief Minister claimed that more than 410 exams have been conducted without any paper leaks. He also noted that the government is working to ensure daytime electricity supply for farmers in 26 districts. Sharma announced that Rajasthan is implementing the “One State, One Election” concept in line with the Prime Minister’s vision, with panchayat elections being held simultaneously to avoid disruptions in development activities.

To commemorate Modi’s 25 years of public service, “Service Resolution Chariots” are being used to disseminate information about welfare schemes in rural areas. This initiative aims to ensure that every eligible family benefits from government programs.

Sharma reiterated that the vision of a “Developed India” can only be achieved by strengthening basic amenities in villages and making the rural economy self-reliant. He highlighted the collaboration between the central and state governments under the “double-engine government” framework to advance development initiatives in rural areas.

The state government is focusing on tailoring development plans to meet the specific needs of individual villages, ensuring that the benefits reach the most marginalized members of society. Through village assemblies and community meetings, suggestions have been gathered from farmers, livestock owners, women, and senior citizens under the “Developed Villages, Developed India” campaign. Based on this feedback, a “Village Development Commitment Document” has been created to reflect the aspirations of the villagers and their commitment to collective development.
