Fire Breaks Out in Ghaziabad Warehouse, Prompt Response Averts Casualties

Ghaziabad, October 14 (Daily Kiran) : A fire erupted early Wednesday morning in a warehouse located in the Rajiv Colony of Lal Market, Bhupura, Ghaziabad, causing significant concern among local residents. The warehouse housed old windows and doors. Upon receiving the alert, the fire department quickly mobilized and dispatched fire engines to the scene to combat the blaze.

Firefighters worked diligently and managed to bring the fire under control. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries related to the incident. The fire station in Sahibabad received notification at 6:23 AM via the Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) about the fire in the warehouse.

Under the leadership of the chief fire officer, the fire service unit promptly headed to the site equipped with necessary tools and fire trucks. Upon arrival, they found the warehouse of Vatan Bhatia engulfed in flames. The firefighting efforts commenced under the guidance of the second fire officer from Sahibabad. Firefighters utilized a Motor Fire Engine (MFE) for pumping water to extinguish the fire.

During the firefighting process, the water supply in the fire trucks ran out. Firefighters then refilled their tanks from a nearby water source and returned to the scene to continue their efforts. Thanks to their persistent work, they eventually managed to fully extinguish the fire.

According to the fire department, there were no casualties reported. However, details regarding any damage to the warehouse and the cause of the fire remain unclear. After the firefighting operation concluded, firefighters provided necessary instructions to onlookers present at the site.

Following the incident, the fire service unit completed the required formalities and returned to the Sahibabad fire station. The timely alert and swift action by the fire department played a crucial role in controlling the situation.
