Delhi Traffic Police Launches Upgraded Website for Enhanced Public Access

New Delhi, September 10 (Daily Kiran) : On September 10, 2026, Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor, Tarunjeet Singh Sandhu, unveiled a revamped website for the Delhi Traffic Police. This upgraded platform promises to be more interactive, informative, and user-friendly, prioritizing accessibility, citizen convenience, and cybersecurity.

Designed with the daily needs of citizens in mind, the new website is fully mobile-friendly, allowing users to access traffic-related information and services anytime, anywhere via smartphones and tablets.

One of the standout features of this upgrade is the ability for users to easily locate their towed vehicles. By entering their vehicle number on the website, citizens can quickly find out where their car has been towed and understand the process for retrieving it. This innovation aims to eliminate the hassle of visiting police stations and traffic pits.

Additionally, the website provides comprehensive information regarding traffic fines. Users can enter their vehicle number to view any outstanding fines and make payments instantly through a QR code.

The new site also includes several user-friendly features. It allows users to check real-time traffic conditions on the best routes and offers an interactive link that explains the meanings of various traffic signs and markings. This initiative is designed to help citizens better understand and comply with traffic regulations.

Looking ahead, the website has been developed with future needs in mind, facilitating the integration of new services and citizen-centric initiatives from the Delhi Traffic Police. Enhanced cybersecurity measures have also been implemented to ensure the platform’s reliability and safety.
