
Lucknow, May 30: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will be in Lucknow today for the inauguration of the Navy Valor Museum. He announced his participation via a post on the social media platform X, expressing his excitement for the event.
In preparation for the inauguration, Uttar Pradesh Minister Jaiveer Singh reviewed the arrangements made by the tourism department for the ceremony. He described the newly constructed museum as an inspiring symbol of bravery, patriotism, and the pride of the Indian Navy.
During his visit, Singh inspected the site and confirmed that the grand museum will be inaugurated today by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This museum is dedicated to the valor, courage, discipline, and service of the Indian Navy. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the military heritage and honor of brave soldiers have received a renewed recognition. The museum aims to inspire future generations with a sense of patriotism, valor, and sacrifice.
The project is a collaborative effort between the Indian Navy and the Uttar Pradesh tourism department. The museum will showcase various authentic naval artifacts associated with the Indian Navy ship Gomati, including an anchor, an AK-726 medium-range gun, a CET-53M submarine obstacle system, a JIF-101 launcher, a capstan drum, a main mast, and a ship’s propeller.
Additionally, the open-air museum will feature the iconic TU-142 aircraft and the SK-42B helicopter of the Indian Navy. Through modern technology, the museum will curate and display the history, maritime security, and combat capabilities of the Navy.
