
New Delhi, September 29 (Daily Kiran) : Darshana Jardosh, the newly appointed co-in-charge of the Delhi BJP, officially took on her new role on September 29, 2026. She visited the party’s state office to discuss organizational matters with the top leadership.
During the meeting, she received a warm welcome from Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra, Organizational Secretary Pawan Rana, General Secretary Vishnu Mittal, Yogita Singh, and Mohanlal Gihara. Jardosh expressed her commitment to enhancing outreach among women and youth through the party’s youth and women’s wings.
Jardosh has previously served as a Member of Parliament from Surat, Gujarat, and holds the record for being the female candidate with the highest votes in the Lok Sabha elections in both 2014 and 2019.
Meanwhile, BJP National President Nitin Naveen instructed the newly appointed state in-charges and co-in-charges to focus on strengthening the party at the grassroots level. He emphasized the importance of spending more time in their respective states and minimizing unnecessary trips to Delhi.
Naveen chaired the first collective meeting of the newly appointed in-charges and co-in-charges at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi. This meeting followed recent organizational changes, with new appointments made for 28 states and eight union territories. Approximately 65 in-charges and co-in-charges participated in the discussions, which centered on strengthening the organization, preparing for upcoming assembly elections, and expanding the party’s reach among various social groups.
He urged the officials to prioritize their responsibilities and to place the interests of the organization above personal preferences.
