Raipur, July 2: The Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited (CSPDCL) has officially announced the availability of 160 apprentice positions for eligible and interested youth. This opportunity is for a one-year duration, as detailed in their recent notification.
The vacancies include 90 positions for Graduate Apprentices and 70 for Diploma Apprentices. Among the Diploma Apprentice roles, there are 50 positions in Electrical/EEE Engineering and 20 in Mechanical Engineering.
For the Graduate Apprentice roles, the 90 positions are distributed as follows: 50 in Electrical/EEE Engineering, 20 in Mechanical Engineering, 5 for General Stream Graduates (B.Sc.), 5 for General Stream Graduates (BBA), and 10 for General Stream Graduates (B.Com).
The application process for these apprentice positions began on June 22 and will close on July 24. Candidates wishing to apply must submit their applications either by post or directly to the office during working hours (10 AM to 5 PM). It is important to note that applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
Applicants for the Graduate Apprentice positions must hold a graduation degree in the relevant field from a recognized institution or university. For the Diploma Apprentice roles, candidates must have completed a diploma in the relevant subject. Candidates with one year or more of work experience or those who have undergone training in another organization are not eligible to apply.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on a merit list derived from their graduation or diploma exam scores. Selected candidates for the Graduate Apprentice positions will receive a stipend of ₹12,300 per month, while those in the Diploma Apprentice roles will earn ₹10,900 per month.
To apply, candidates should first visit the official portal of the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) to register. After successfully submitting the application form, they should download and print it. The completed application form, along with all relevant documents, must be sent in an envelope to the following address: Executive Director (Training Research & Development), Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited, Kota Road, Gudiyari, Raipur 492009 (Chhattisgarh). It is mandatory to include the NATS registration number on the application form.
