CM Yogi Launches Service Commitment Campaign on PM Modis Birthday

Lucknow, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : On September 17, 2026, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the “Service Commitment Campaign” at the Inspiration Site in Lucknow to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 76th birthday. The event featured a ceremonial lighting of lamps at the statues of notable figures such as Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee, and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

During the event, CM Yogi engaged with students present at the site, capturing moments on his mobile phone and distributing chocolates. He extended birthday wishes to Prime Minister Modi, wishing him a long and healthy life, while also offering greetings for the celebration of Vishwakarma Puja. The Chief Minister emphasized that under Modi’s leadership, the country is progressing towards the vision of a developed India. He noted that millions of lamps are being lit across the nation, symbolizing positivity and energy, including at significant locations and the homes of beneficiaries of various welfare schemes.

Yogi praised the campaign’s volunteers, beneficiaries, and citizens, highlighting that the day also marks the auspicious birth anniversary of Lord Vishwakarma. He referred to Modi as the architect of a new India, noting that the country has established a new identity and is advancing in infrastructure and technology. He expressed pride in the transformation that every individual can witness, stating that India is now emerging as a leader in these areas.

The Chief Minister reaffirmed that the 25 crore residents of Uttar Pradesh stand united with Modi in the journey towards a self-reliant and developed India.
