New Delhi, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his gratitude for the birthday wishes extended by former President Ram Nath Kovind on his special day. In a message, Modi reaffirmed his ongoing commitment to ensuring dignity, opportunities, and empowerment for every Indian, particularly for those who have long been marginalized.
Kovind shared his birthday greetings on the social media platform X, where he highlighted Modi’s public life and political journey. In response, Modi thanked Kovind, stating, “Thank you for your warm wishes and thoughtful words, Ram Nath Kovind Ji.”
The Prime Minister emphasized that efforts to uphold the dignity and empowerment of all Indians have been a continuous pursuit. He specifically acknowledged the challenges faced by those on the fringes of society.
“Our collective resolution is to work with greater dedication towards building a strong and developed India,” Modi stated.
Earlier, Kovind had reflected on Modi’s journey from assuming office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat in October 2001 to becoming Prime Minister in 2014. He noted that for over 25 years, Modi has consistently promoted the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas,” or “Together with all, development for all.”
Kovind highlighted the importance of inclusivity in this vision, remarking, “Those who were not asked, Modi has honored.” He stressed that bringing marginalized individuals into the mainstream has been a significant theme of Modi’s public service.
In his message, the former President wished for Modi’s good health, longevity, and continued strength in serving the nation.
