BJP Celebrates Service Day in Uttar Pradesh with Diya Lighting for PM Modis Birthday

Lucknow, September 17 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday was marked with significant celebrations across Uttar Pradesh on September 17. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a series of grand events under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ initiative. From Lucknow to Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Gorakhpur, party members lit ‘Aashirwad ke Diye’ to wish for the Prime Minister’s long life.

In Lucknow, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak stated, “The BJP has organized various programs to showcase Prime Minister Modi’s successful 25-year journey. These include welfare schemes for the poor, initiatives related to the vision of a ‘Developed India,’ distributing fruits to patients in hospitals, and blood donation camps.”

Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya extended his birthday wishes to Modi, saying, “Today marks a new culture in our country. This day is celebrated as ‘Service Day’ with blessings and good wishes. Across India and around the world, wherever Indians reside, lamps are being lit in honor of PM Modi. Elders are lighting lamps for blessings, while the younger generation offers prayers. Under his leadership, BJP offices across the country are illuminated with lights, and homes of millions of poor beneficiaries of housing schemes are also shining bright today.”

In Gorakhpur, BJP MP Ravi Kishan participated in a diya lighting event to celebrate Modi’s birthday under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.’

In Varanasi, BJP state president Pankaj Chaudhary noted, “The public is highly enthusiastic about the work done for the welfare and upliftment of the poor. People are lighting diyas to express their joy and support for the Prime Minister.”

BJP MLA Siddharth Nath Singh in Prayagraj remarked, “Look, where mafia once illegally occupied land, today 76 families have received homes under the PM Awas Yojana. They are here today, lighting diyas to celebrate Diwali in honor of Modi ji. They express gratitude for the roofs over their heads, saying, ‘You have brought light into our lives where there was darkness.'”
