Lucknow, September 12 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath commemorated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service on Saturday in Lucknow. Speaking at the launch of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ (Service Commitment Campaign), he highlighted Modi’s journey marked by dedication to service and nation-building.
Adityanath noted that since 2014, India has accelerated its development and global influence, presenting a new image to the world. The Chief Minister announced that October 7 will mark Modi’s 25 years as Head of State. To celebrate this milestone, the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will run from September 17, designated as ‘Service Day’, to October 17. The campaign aims to communicate Modi’s public service achievements and policies to the public.
He praised Modi for transforming Gujarat into a welfare state that effectively utilizes modern technology, making it an attractive destination globally. As Prime Minister, Modi has implemented welfare schemes that were once unimaginable, propelling India from a struggling nation to a leading global power.
Adityanath pointed out that many countries have honored Modi with their highest accolades. He emphasized that a comprehensive vision for overall development is evident when reviewing Modi’s 25-year tenure. The successful G-20 summit and the BRICS conference in India serve as proof of the country’s growing global acceptance.
The Chief Minister stated that Modi has liberated the nation from a colonial mindset while working to preserve and respect India’s heritage and culture. He referenced the construction of the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya after 500 years and linked the successful Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj to India’s cultural strength and heritage. He asserted that the country is advancing its traditions alongside modern development.
Adityanath concluded that Modi’s 25 years in public life represent more than just a political journey; they signify a period of service and commitment that has provided new direction for national development, public welfare, and cultural renaissance. The ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ will serve as a platform to share this journey with the public.
Additionally, BJP state president Pankaj Chaudhary remarked on the impact of Modi’s ‘Local for Vocal’ initiative on India’s industrial growth, noting that the country is now producing everything from chips to ships. He stated that the double-engine government has transformed Uttar Pradesh, making it a hub for expressways and a leader in implementing central government schemes at the grassroots level.
Chaudhary mentioned that under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, BJP workers will engage with the public to share information about Modi’s 25 years of service and achievements through 11 key programs.
