New Delhi, June 13: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has initiated a comprehensive training and capacity-building program to enhance its operational capabilities. The CISF is continuously preparing its personnel to meet emerging security challenges.
In a post shared on the official ‘X’ account of the CISF on Saturday, it was revealed that the force is providing advanced training in cutting-edge areas such as drone and counter-drone operations, cybersecurity, industrial firefighting, disaster management, and leadership development. These training programs are consistently improving the skills and efficiency of CISF personnel.
The force has also collaborated with the Indian Army to conduct a ‘Battle Inoculation Training Program.’ This specialized training aims to mentally prepare personnel for combat-like conditions. Soldiers participating in this program have significantly enhanced their mental resilience, situational awareness, and ability to make quick and accurate decisions under challenging circumstances.
The CISF is responsible for securing the nation’s critical industrial infrastructure, airports, ports, nuclear plants, metro rail systems, and other sensitive locations. The force is continuously updating its training to address new security threats, including drone attacks, cyber threats, and industrial disasters.
Recently, the CISF Director General reviewed the force’s preparedness, emphasizing that in the modern security landscape, both traditional security measures and technical and mental readiness are equally essential. With this mindset, the CISF has revamped its training programs entirely.
A spokesperson for the force stated that these training initiatives not only enhance the professional efficiency of the personnel but also instill confidence and resilience. The CISF remains committed to ensuring the security of the country’s economic development and vital installations.
