Patna, May 26: Central Minister and leader of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Chirag Paswan, congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday for his 12 years of leadership at the center. He described this period as a historic era of service, governance, and national development.
In a message shared on social media, Paswan recalled the oath-taking ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on May 26, 2014.
He stated that the moment Prime Minister Modi took the oath of office, a transformative journey focused on development, public welfare, and good governance began for the nation.
Highlighting the achievements of the Modi government over the past 12 years, Paswan emphasized that the welfare of the poor has remained at the center of policy-making throughout this period.
According to him, the Prime Minister’s vision has transformed the principle of ‘Antyodaya’ into a powerful movement for self-reliance and inclusive development.
He further noted that public participation has turned development into a mass movement, significantly contributing to women’s empowerment, innovation, economic growth, and cultural revival across the country.
Praising Modi’s leadership in global diplomacy and national security, Paswan stated that due to the Prime Minister’s visionary policies, India stands strong against terrorism and has emerged as a confident and reliable power on the international stage.
Recalling the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Paswan mentioned that the National Democratic Alliance returned to power with a clear majority after nearly a decade.
He revealed that his party decided to join the NDA, influenced by Modi’s governance model and leadership style as Chief Minister of Gujarat.
Remembering his late father, Ram Vilas Paswan, Chirag Paswan stated that the decision to ally with the NDA was made in the broader interest of national development and public welfare.
Reaffirming his party’s support for the NDA, Paswan declared that the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has consistently stood with the alliance in the last three Lok Sabha elections and will continue to work for national interest and public service under Modi’s leadership.
