New Delhi, May 26: Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 12 years of dedicated public service in the highest office. He stated that May 26, 2014, will be remembered as the day of establishing service-oriented governance.
Sachdeva highlighted that the Modi government has set new benchmarks in public service by transforming Rajpath into Kartavyapath, Raj Bhavan into Lok Bhavan, and renaming the central office complex as Kartavyabhavan.
He noted that the government has not only fulfilled the aspirations of every Indian but has also inspired citizens towards national service. This includes combating the COVID-19 pandemic, addressing Pakistan-sponsored terrorism, abrogating Article 370 in Kashmir, and facilitating the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Sachdeva emphasized that a significant achievement of the Modi government was liberating Delhi from the chaotic and corrupt Arvind Kejriwal administration in 2025, and in 2026, freeing Bengal from Mamata Banerjee’s corrupt governance focused on minority appeasement. He asserted that BJP’s governance is now established in both regions.
On the occasion of the completion of 12 years of Modi’s governance, the Delhi government has also raised the income limit for ration cards to ₹2.5 lakh, fulfilling another aspiration of public service.
Last week, the process of issuing 250,000 new ration cards began in Delhi. Today, the BJP government has set a new example of public service by increasing the annual income eligibility limit for ration cards from ₹1.2 lakh to ₹2.5 lakh.
To commemorate the 12 years of the NDA government led by Prime Minister Modi, the central government has planned a nationwide outreach campaign. Under this initiative, central ministers, BJP leaders, chief ministers, and MPs will connect with people across the country to highlight 22 major achievements attained by the government in various sectors.
