Patna, February 9: Central Minister Raj Bhushan Chaudhary has retaliated against the remarks made by Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav in the Bihar Assembly.
During a media interaction in Patna, Chaudhary stated that when individuals lose elections, they should reflect on their defeat. He urged Yadav to consider why he failed to connect with the public. Chaudhary reminded him of the time when his parents were in power, which tarnished Bihar’s image and led to injustices against ordinary citizens. The public has not forgotten the Rajya Sabha’s tenure, which contributed to their loss in the recent Bihar Assembly elections.
Commenting on Nitin Nawin’s visit to Bihar, he expressed that it is a moment of pride for the state. Nawin, now the national president of the BJP, previously visited as the acting president. His arrival as the national leader is welcomed on Bihar’s soil, and the atmosphere in the state is positive. All party workers are set to give him a grand welcome.
Regarding the Congress’s protests following Pappu Yadav’s arrest, Chaudhary criticized those who hinder administrative efforts and spread confusion with baseless statements. He emphasized that the administration should be allowed to perform its duties. He questioned the necessity of making statements when investigations are ongoing, urging against attempts to disrupt the peace. He noted that Yadav’s arrest is related to an old case.
On the protests concerning the death of a NEET student, he asserted that the administration is fulfilling its responsibilities. This government is committed to good governance. No matter how cunning a criminal may be, they will not escape justice. The guilty will face the strictest penalties.
