Mumbai, June 24: The murder case of Pune’s Ketan Agarwal has sparked reactions following the assassination of transporter Raja Raghuvanshi. Sachin Raghuvanshi, Raja’s brother, drew parallels between the two cases, noting similarities in the planning of the crimes.
In an interview, Sachin expressed condolences to Ketan Agarwal’s family and urged authorities to deliver swift justice to the grieving family. He highlighted that Ketan was the only son, and his death has left a profound impact on his family.
Sachin stated, “If the accused did not want to marry, she could have declined. There was no need to resort to murder.” He accused the legal system of potentially misleading the public due to the quick relief granted to the accused in a previous case.
He added, “Sia wanted love, but she should have considered that Ketan was someone’s son and brother. What is his family going through today?” He emphasized that stricter action in earlier cases might have prevented such tragedies from occurring again.
Sachin Raghuvanshi mentioned that he might visit Ketan Agarwal’s family in Pune. Having endured similar pain, he feels he can relate to their suffering.
He stressed the importance of maintaining public trust in the legal system. Sachin remarked that he once believed that the law was blind, but now he has experienced its shortcomings firsthand.
Meanwhile, as the investigation into Ketan Agarwal’s murder continues in Pune, the society’s security manager, Shiv Kumar, shared his thoughts on the accused, Chetan Chaudhary. He described him as a good boy but admitted he was unaware of Chetan’s personal life or his connection with Sia.
Shiv Kumar noted that Chetan usually returned home between 8 and 9 PM after work. He had not seen Sia frequenting the society and only learned about the incident after the news broke.
Currently, police are investigating all aspects related to the murder case.
