Pune, June 24: In the ongoing Pune murder case, Ketan Agarwal‘s father, Vishal Agarwal, has called for severe punishment for those responsible for his son’s death. He expressed his complete faith in the justice system, stating, “My son will receive justice. Until those accountable for his death are given harsh penalties, his soul will not find peace.”
Vishal Agarwal spoke to a news agency, recounting the initial account given by Sia, who claimed Ketan fell due to slipping. Both were present at the scene during the incident. “What she told us made sense at the time. However, a few days later, various details emerged that led us to understand the situation differently. The police also uncovered significant information, which raised our suspicions,” he explained.
Neighbor Shashi Shishupal Agarwal shared memories of Ketan, stating he had lived in the area since he was one year old. “Even though we are not relatives, we share a bond of love and respect. My husband and Pushpa didi are siblings. Once, when we were lost, we called Ketan, and he came to pick us up at midnight. He was a very kind child, always ready to help. I am deeply saddened and believe that whoever did this must face the harshest punishment. We were aware of his engagement and thought it was a good family. I never met Sia, but Ketan was excited about his marriage. Children have their dreams,” she said.
She recounted receiving a call from an authority informing her about Ketan’s death. “After making a few calls, I confirmed the heartbreaking news. It feels surreal that a girl could do this. The family is in deep sorrow. I worry about how they will recover from this shock. Action must be taken against the accused.”
